WHO WE ARE:

Welcome to the official website of IAFF Local 337.  Please browse freely and stop back often!

The Euclid (OH) I.A.F.F. Local 337 is one of the many locals that proudly represent over a quarter-million firefighters and EMS workers throughout the US and Canada.

The members of Local 337 respond to about 6,800* emergencies yearly and protect a population of about 53,000.  Firefighting is just one facet of our job.  Our members are responsible for providing paramedic-level medical care and transport, initial hazardous materials response, fire inspections, fire and arson investigation, community fire education, and a variety of other duties vital to the City of Euclid.  +We have 9 members who are on the Heights Area Special Rescue Team.

"We will never forget the sacrifices made and the heroic actions taken by both the citizens and public safety workers on September 11 2001, especially the 343 members who made the supreme sacrifice."

*Generally each emergency has one run number assigned regardless of how may apparatus are sent. Eg. 2 Engines, 1 Ladder, an OIC & a Rescue Squad go to a fire run, this is counted as ONE RUN.
